These terms govern your use of the Affilicare website and apps. Please read them carefully. By using Affilicare, you agree to these terms.
What Affilicare is
Affilicare is a platform and directory that connects families and caregivers with local home-care agencies. We are not a home-care agency. We do not provide care, we do not employ caregivers, and we do not supervise the care that agencies deliver. The agencies you find through us are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own services, hiring, licensing, and the care they provide.
Who can use Affilicare
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use Affilicare. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
Your account
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the platform for any unlawful purpose,
- submit false, misleading, or harmful information,
- attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours,
- interfere with or disrupt the platform, or
- misuse another person's information obtained through the platform.
Agencies and caregivers are independent
Listing an agency in our directory is not an endorsement, and it is not a guarantee of the quality, safety, or outcome of any care. Decisions about care, hiring, and any agreement you enter into are between you and the agency. You are responsible for evaluating whether an agency or a caregiver is right for your situation. Affilicare is not a party to, and is not responsible for, the relationship or any agreement between you and an agency.
Content you provide
You keep ownership of the information you submit. By submitting it, you give Affilicare permission to use it as needed to operate the platform and connect you with the agency you choose, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted or error free, or that any agency or caregiver will meet your needs.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Affilicare is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of any agency or caregiver, arising from your use of the platform.
Indemnification
You agree to hold Affilicare harmless from claims arising out of your use of the platform or your violation of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date above. Your continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
